New shot aims to curb heavy periods in early trial

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new injection called BT-114143 for people with abnormal uterine bleeding (heavy or irregular periods). About 39 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo to check safety and how well it reduces bleeding. The goal is to find a treatment that controls symptoms and improves quality of life.
