NCT ID NCT07611643
First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 04, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how a special mouthguard (occlusal splint) affects daytime and nighttime teeth grinding and clenching in adults with chronic jaw muscle pain. Researchers will use a small wearable device to measure jaw muscle activity over 24 hours, before and after using the mouthguard. The goal is to better understand how the mouthguard changes muscle activity and helps with pain, which can improve treatment for bruxism and jaw disorders.
