Smart gloves and videos aim to train better lung doctors
NCT ID NCT07168408
Summary
This study aims to collect data to improve how doctors learn to perform bronchoscopy, a procedure to examine the lungs. Researchers will gather CT scans and procedure videos from 300 patients, while up to 20 doctors will wear special gloves that track their hand movements. The goal is to use this information to create better training tools and simulators for new doctors learning this skill.
