First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a thin, flexible tube with a camera (bronchoscopy) can help find the exact germ causing pneumonia in children who are not getting better with standard antibiotics. About 58 children in the pediatric ICU will have this procedure to collect lung samples. The goal is to improve diagnosis and guide more targeted treatment for resistant pneumonia.
