NCT ID NCT07362667

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is for people with allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA), a lung condition caused by an allergic reaction to a fungus. The treatment involves using a bronchoscope (a thin tube inserted into the airways) to clear mucus plugs and spray an antifungal drug (amphotericin B) directly into the lungs. The goal is to see if this approach improves symptoms, reduces IgE levels, and clears mucus plugs on scans. About 44 participants will be followed for up to 2 years to check for flare-ups and safety.
