Could saltwater mist and chest tapping help sick babies breathe?

NCT ID NCT06441162

Summary

This study tested if a combination of two treatments could help infants hospitalized with bronchiolitis, a common viral lung infection. The treatments were a special saltwater mist breathed in through a nebulizer and gentle tapping on the chest. Researchers wanted to see if this combination helped babies breathe better, need less oxygen, and get to go home from the hospital faster.
