First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study will watch about 65 children, ages 1 to 24 months, who are in the hospital for bronchiolitis—a common lung infection that can make it hard to breathe. Researchers will collect information from parents and medical records to find out which factors, like premature birth or exposure to smoke, are linked to more severe illness. The goal is to help doctors predict who might get sicker and improve care.
