Summary

This study tested whether an investigational drug called itepekimab could help adults with a chronic lung condition called bronchiectasis. Researchers compared two dosing schedules of the drug against a placebo in 312 participants to see if it could reduce the frequency of serious lung flare-ups and improve breathing over 24 to 52 weeks. The main goal was to see if the drug was effective and safe for controlling this long-term disease.
