Summary

This small pilot study is testing if adding a drug called bromocriptine is safe and can help control blood sugar problems in people with schizophrenia. The blood sugar issues are a serious side effect of common antipsychotic medications and can lead to diabetes. The study will involve 15 stable patients who will take bromocriptine for 6 weeks alongside their regular treatment.
