Can eating broccoli change your genes? scientists investigate

NCT ID NCT07456267

Summary

This study aimed to see if tiny genetic pieces (called miRNAs) from broccoli can be absorbed into human blood after eating it. Researchers tested 20 healthy adults to check if these plant materials could be found in their blood and stool, and if they might influence gut bacteria. The goal was to understand a new way food might communicate with our bodies, not to treat any disease.
