Summary
This study compared two medications, brivaracetam and levetiracetam, given through an IV to children having a prolonged seizure (status epilepticus). The goal was to see which drug stopped seizures faster and had fewer side effects. The study included 152 children aged 1 month to 16 years. Results will help doctors choose the best treatment for these emergencies.
