Summary

This study tested a coaching program for families of young children (ages 1.5 to 4.5 years) with suspected or confirmed developmental delays. The program included a coach, online tools, and a peer support network. The goal was to see if this approach could improve parents' sense of empowerment and competence compared to usual care. 306 families participated across different settings.
