Can a community program turn the tide on childhood obesity?
NCT ID NCT05595161
Summary
This study is testing how well a proven family-based program, called Bright Bodies, works to help children with obesity manage their weight when it's offered in different community settings. Researchers are observing about 180 children, aged 7-13, and their parents as they go through the program at three diverse locations. The main goal is to see if the program helps lower the children's body mass index (BMI) and improves family health habits over time.
