Summary
This study tests a 4-session psychological treatment for people with borderline personality disorder (BPD) who visit the emergency department with suicidal thoughts or self-harm. The goal is to see if this brief therapy can reduce suicidal thinking, improve symptoms, and lower the need for emergency care. About 180 participants will be randomly assigned to either the new therapy or standard care.
