Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug Anakinra to the fluid that donor lungs are stored in can prevent a serious complication called primary graft dysfunction after lung transplant. About 20 adults getting a lung transplant will take part. The drug aims to reduce inflammation and fluid buildup in the new lungs.
