Ear device aims to cut opioid need after surgery

NCT ID NCT06071884

Summary

This study tested a small device worn on the ear, called the Bridge, to see if it could help manage pain after outpatient rotator cuff surgery. It involved 42 patients and compared their results to a group of past patients who had the same surgery. The main goal was to see if the device could reduce both pain levels and the need for opioid painkillers during the first week of recovery.
