Summary

This study is testing whether an oral drug called brensocatib can reduce painful lumps and abscesses in adults with moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa, a chronic inflammatory skin disease. About 214 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo for 16 weeks to see which works better. The main goal is to measure the change in the number of painful skin lesions and see if the drug is safe.
