Study tests whether patients can breathe on their own during lung surgery

NCT ID NCT07395375

Summary

This study compares two anesthesia approaches for patients having minimally invasive surgery to remove small lung nodules. Researchers want to know if letting patients breathe on their own with pain blocks is as safe as using a breathing tube and ventilator machine. They'll also check if the breathing-on-their-own method leads to better recovery with less pain and fewer side effects after surgery.
