Breathing training may ease cravings and boost lung health in addiction recovery

Summary

This study tests whether a special breathing exercise program can help people with substance use disorder. Researchers will measure changes in lung function, shortness of breath, cough strength, exercise ability, cravings, mood, and quality of life. About 34 adults receiving inpatient treatment will take part.
