Can simple breathing exercises help kids breathe easier after a transplant?
NCT ID NCT06655181
Summary
This study tested whether a special breathing exercise program could help children who have had a kidney transplant. The goal was to see if strengthening their breathing muscles could improve their lung function, overall muscle strength, and ability to walk. Thirty children were split into two groups: one did the special breathing exercises, and the other did a simpler program for comparison over eight weeks.
