Could simple breathing exercises ease the widespread pain of fibromyalgia?

NCT ID NCT07261696

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific type of breathing muscle training can help reduce symptoms for women with fibromyalgia. Researchers want to see if this easy-to-do training can improve the body's automatic nervous system function, which may help with pain, fatigue, sleep problems, anxiety, and depression. Fifty-one women will use a special breathing device at home for six weeks to see if it makes a difference.
