New breathing workout aims to ease chronic lung disease
NCT ID NCT07188675
Summary
This study is testing a home exercise program designed to strengthen breathing muscles and core stability in adults with bronchiectasis, a chronic lung condition. Researchers want to see if this specific training, added to standard chest physiotherapy, can improve lung function, strength, balance, and quality of life. The results will be compared to a simpler breathing training program to find the best approach for managing symptoms.
