Brain scans and surveys aim to decode the mystery of breathlessness
NCT ID NCT07472738
Summary
This study aims to understand why people with chronic lung diseases like asthma and COPD feel their breathing difficulty so differently. Researchers will observe about 800 patients and 150 healthy volunteers, using questionnaires, lung tests, blood work, and brain scans to look for patterns. The goal is to group patients by how they perceive symptoms, which may help doctors personalize future treatment plans.
