Extra breathing workouts may ease COPD breathlessness

Summary

This study looked at whether adding special breathing muscle training to a standard 3-week lung rehab program helps reduce shortness of breath in people with COPD. The 38 participants all had normal breathing muscle strength. The goal was to see if the combined approach works better than rehab alone.
