First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tests a special breathing exercise program for adults with bronchiectasis, a chronic lung condition causing cough and mucus. The program combines breathing muscle training with core stability exercises. Researchers will measure lung function, muscle thickness, balance, and quality of life in 38 participants over 8 weeks to see if this approach helps more than standard breathing exercises alone.
