NCT ID NCT07135583
First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests a new way to improve breathing in people with chronic spinal cord injury. It combines two non-invasive techniques: mild electrical stimulation on the back and breathing special air mixtures. The goal is to 'wake up' remaining nerve pathways to make breathing exercises more effective. Researchers will also look for biomarkers in blood and saliva to predict who benefits most.
