Can simple breathing exercises rival medical devices for asthma relief?
NCT ID NCT07110116
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific yoga-style breathing exercise (alternate nostril breathing) works as well as a standard medical device (an incentive spirometer) to help people with asthma breathe better. Researchers will measure lung function and quality of life in 54 adults with mild to moderate asthma. The goal is to find out if a simple, drug-free technique can be a helpful part of managing asthma symptoms.
