First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at whether special breathing exercises can make the diaphragm and chest muscles stronger in people who have had a stroke. About 35 adults aged 18–65 will do these exercises for 4 weeks. Researchers will use ultrasound to measure muscle thickness and also check balance and mobility. The goal is to see if these exercises help with breathing and movement after a stroke.
