Summary

This study looked back at data to see if two simple breathing exercises could help older adults who broke their hip. After being immobilized, patients can have weaker lungs and unstable blood pressure. The research compared two techniques, Liuzijue and box breathing, to see if they improved breathing capacity and blood pressure over four weeks of therapy.
