Simple breathing exercise may trim liver fat and boost fitness in older men

NCT ID NCT07193082

Summary

This study tested whether a simple, 4-week breathing exercise program could improve health in older men. Thirty healthy men aged 60-80 were split into two groups: one did the breathing training, and the other did not. Researchers measured if the exercises could strengthen breathing muscles, reduce fat in the liver, and help men walk farther.
