Simple Lip-Pursing breath could calm nerves after scary lung test
NCT ID NCT07361978
Summary
This study is testing if a simple breathing exercise can help people with COPD feel less anxious and recover better after a bronchoscopy, a common lung exam. Researchers will teach 64 patients a pursed-lip breathing technique right after the procedure to see if it lowers their heart rate, blood pressure, and anxiety more than standard care alone. The goal is to find a quick, nurse-led method to improve comfort during recovery.
