Can a breathing device help heal a 'Broken Heart'?

NCT ID NCT03324529

Summary

This study is testing if a 15-week guided breathing program can help people who have had Takotsubo syndrome, a temporary heart condition often triggered by stress. Researchers will measure how well the program helps regulate the body's automatic nervous system, which controls heart rate. The goal is to see if this simple, at-home approach can improve patients' quality of life and provide a new way to manage the condition.
