First seen Feb 12, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested a new way of breathing during a common heart procedure for atrial fibrillation. The goal was to see if using very small, fast breaths with controlled pressure could keep the treatment catheter more stable. 52 adults took part, and researchers compared the new breathing method to standard ventilation to measure how much the catheter moved.
