5-Minute breathing app could be new weapon against high blood pressure
NCT ID NCT06229873
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app could effectively guide people through a special breathing exercise to lower high blood pressure. Thirty-two adults with elevated blood pressure performed 5 minutes of breathing exercises daily for 6 weeks, either with app guidance or in-person clinic guidance. Researchers compared how well each method lowered blood pressure and whether people stuck with the routine.
