Gentle airflow vs. suction: which breathing tube removal is safer for new moms?

NCT ID NCT07251686

Summary

This study tested two ways to remove a breathing tube after a C-section to see which one helps mothers breathe better right after surgery. Researchers compared a gentle airflow method to a suction method in 120 women having planned C-sections. The main goal was to see which technique better prevented low oxygen levels in the first hour after the tube was removed.
