Breathing battle: which device wins for COPD relief?
NCT ID NCT07435532
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study compares two breathing devices—the Breather and the incentive spirometer—to see which better reduces shortness of breath, improves lung function, and boosts quality of life in people with mild to moderate COPD. About 80 adults aged 45 to 65 will use one of the devices and be tracked for changes in breathlessness, walking ability, and daily symptoms. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to help patients feel better day-to-day.
