New study probes hidden link between heart failure and lung blood pressure
NCT ID NCT07537517
First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026
Summary
This study looks at why some people with heart failure develop high blood pressure in their lungs (pulmonary hypertension). Researchers will follow 150 patients for one year, using blood tests, heart imaging, and tissue samples to understand a key biological pathway. The goal is to better classify the disease and find new treatment targets, not to test a therapy directly.
