Could a breath test replace finger pricks for diabetes?
NCT ID NCT07147010
Summary
This study aimed to find out if chemicals in a person's breath change when their blood sugar levels go up or down. Researchers tested 20 people with Type 2 diabetes, measuring their breath with special devices while their blood sugar was changed on purpose. The goal was to gather knowledge to see if a simple breath test could one day help monitor diabetes.
