Breath test could predict radiotherapy side effects for prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT04081428

Summary

This study aims to find new ways to predict how a patient's body and their prostate tumor will respond to a short, precise course of radiotherapy. Researchers will test if analyzing a patient's breath, blood, and scan images during treatment can forecast side effects and treatment success. The goal is to gather information that could one day help doctors personalize radiotherapy doses for each individual.
