Summary

This study looked at how much of certain HIV medications get into breastmilk. Twenty healthy volunteers who were finishing breastfeeding took a single dose of one of the drugs. Researchers measured drug levels in blood and milk to understand the balance between safety for the baby and effectiveness against HIV.
