First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a text-message program designed to support African-American/Black mothers in breastfeeding. About 80 pregnant women who planned to breastfeed received either the special program or a general health text service. Researchers measured how many women were still breastfeeding at 2 months and whether they found the texts helpful. The goal is to find simple ways to close the gap in breastfeeding rates.
