NCT ID NCT06058871
Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone app that provides personalized, on-demand breastfeeding support can help new mothers in Hong Kong breastfeed their babies longer and more exclusively. The app sends helpful messages and allows mothers to ask questions in real-time, aiming to overcome common early challenges. Researchers are comparing the app's effectiveness against usual care for over 500 first-time mothers.
