New study seeks best 3D mammogram angle to spot breast abnormalities

This study compares two types of 3D mammography (digital breast tomosynthesis) to see which one makes breast masses and distortions easier to see. About 100 women getting standard screening mammograms will participate. The goal is to improve detection, not to treat any disease.
