Surgeon's simple trick slashes Post-Surgery pain

NCT ID NCT06905574

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether a nerve block given by the surgeon during breast reduction surgery could lower pain and the need for painkillers afterward. Sixty women took part, with half receiving the block. The goal was to see if this approach leads to less pain, less opioid use, and fewer side effects in the first 24 hours after surgery.
