New mesh tested for safer breast reconstruction

Summary
This study is testing whether a surgical mesh called OviTex PRS is safe and effective for women having breast reconstruction with implants after mastectomy. Researchers will follow 235 women who receive this mesh during their reconstruction surgery to see how well it works and what complications might occur. The study focuses on women having their first breast reconstruction immediately after mastectomy for cancer or cancer prevention.
