Scientists probe hidden world of breast milk: does pumping change its magic?
NCT ID NCT06691932
Summary
This study aims to understand how breast milk changes throughout the day and how it relates to a baby's sleep and gut health. Researchers are comparing 240 mother-baby pairs: half who feed mostly directly from the breast and half who feed mostly pumped milk. The goal is to gather basic knowledge to help improve feeding and health outcomes for all breastfed infants.
