First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special ultrasound with contrast dye, combined with computer analysis, can accurately tell if a breast lump is harmless or cancerous. About 100 women with suspicious breast findings will get this imaging before their planned biopsy. The goal is to see if this approach can safely rule out cancer and prevent many women from needing a needle biopsy.
