Simple ultrasound test could ease breast cancer screening bottlenecks
NCT ID NCT07407153
Summary
This study is testing if a simple, handheld ultrasound machine can help sort breast lumps found during a physical exam. The goal is to quickly identify lumps that are likely harmless, so those women can avoid unnecessary mammograms and biopsies. This could reduce wait times at busy hospitals and improve the screening process for 600 women in Indonesia.
