First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special nerve block (called a rhomboid intercostal block) can reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers after breast implant surgery. About 40 women will either get the block plus standard anesthesia or standard anesthesia alone. The goal is to see if the block leads to less opioid use and better pain control after surgery.
