Scientists grow human breast cancer in mice to unlock treatment secrets
NCT ID NCT04133077
Summary
This study aims to grow human breast cancer tumors in mice to create better research models. Researchers will take small pieces of tumor from patients during surgery and implant them into mice. By studying how these tumors grow and change in the mice, scientists hope to learn more about why some cancers resist treatment and how they evolve, which could lead to better future therapies.
